Due to continued growth in the market, Amerisure is currently looking to add a Loss Control Manager in Florida.  This position is responsible for providing direction to a field staff of Loss Control Consultants out of the FL core service center and will provide loss control services to policyholders of higher level Partners for Success Agencies. The successful candidate will be responsible for the coaching and development of less experienced Loss Control Consultants and will participate as a key member of the CSC Management Team.

Responsibilities: Maintaining a consultant workload on large accounts of a complex nature and/or those that have a significant importance to the Company; performing field evaluations on consultants and providing field training where required and to the extent to bring the consultant to a high level of performance within the standards of the loss control department; attend meetings with agents, Agency Operations personnel, and insurers in support of the Company’s marketing strategies; monitor field activity and provide direction and control in the areas of productivity and quality work both in the field and on written work; perform all personnel administration activity for department including salary administration, performance management, hiring, timekeeping, discipline, training, and employee communications, according to corporate policy and procedure guidelines; other activities as assigned by management.

Requirements: Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of loss control experience in the insurance industry, the ability to coach and motivate a team of remote Loss Control Consultants, strong communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships. 5) Amerisure Mutual Ins. – Sr. Medical Claims Specialist (RN) – St. Petersburg, FL
Amerisure, a property and casualty insure company, is seeking a Senior Medical Claims Specialist located in St. Petersburg area that will assist the St. Petersburg, FL claims team with all aspects of WC medical case management. This is an in-house W/C nurse case-management position.  This is a unique opportunity to be a nurse consultant, a business professional & a critical contributor to our claims team.   Responsibilities include but not limited to, telephonic medical case management, coordinating return to work, assigning and monitoring of outside rehabilitation services, assist in implementing new service strategies.

Position Requirements: Candidate must be a license Registered Nurse and have a rehab certification that will make you eligible for a QRP. Will have managed care network experience and knowledge of Florida WC laws. Ideally 4-6 years Case Management carrier/claims experience and 7 years clinical experience is desired. Bachelor’s degree in a related field strongly preferred.

Success in this assignment requires demonstrated strengths in the areas of planning, organization, communication, and time management skills.
