Online CE Courses
In 2003 the WCCP partnered with AE21 Online to the first organization in Florida CE history to develop and provide certified online courses specifically designed for the claims professional. This new alternative of online education is the future of adult and professional continuing education and WCCP and AE21 Online offers the largest selection of claims-specific online training and CE courses available anywhere.  For a complete list of of the WCCP’s online courses offered through AE21 Online, click here.

Comprehensive W/C Claims Management Program
The WCCP provides Florida’s only comprehensive workers compensation claims training curriculum.  The program is most appropriate as a W/C claims training program for entry and intermediate-level claims adjusters, nurse case managers, or claims professionals with less than 5 years of lost time disability claims handling experience. This program has also been approved for adjuster, RN and CCM/CDMS credit.

The Comprehensive Program is offered on demand as an in-house program and for small groups with a minimum of 15 students.  For details on program components, costs, and delivery, click here.

Workers’ Compensation Board Certification Program
The WCCP also offers Florida’s only state-recognized and board-certified program of advanced training and education for experienced workers’ compensation adjusters and medical case managers, entitling them to earn professional certification and the right to display the “CWC” designation after their name.  This program provides a higher level of detailed coverage and review of the entire workers compensation system, as well as all issues germane to Florida’s workers’ compensation exposures.

Certification classes are held one day per month over a ten (10) month period. Classes run from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. Each class is immediately followed by an exam. Click here for a detailed review of program.

Advanced Board Certification for Litigation Adjusters
The WCCP has joined forces with the Work Comp Section of the Florida Bar to advance the annual Florida Workers’ Compensation Forum as the premier educational and professional development event of this decade!

As a Certification Review Course for the Board Certification of its member attorneys, this prestigious event also serves as an annual re-certification program for Florida’s Board Certified W/C Adjusters to progress to the next level as a “Board Certified W/C Litigation Adjuster” and earn Florida’s highest-level official designation for W/C claims professionalism:  “CWCL” (Certified in Workers’ Compensation Litigation).

Attendance is strictly limited to Board Certified W/C Claims Professionals who have already earned their “CWC” designations, as well as claims supervisors, managers and executives interested in advancing their depth of knowledge and understanding of the Florida workers’ compensation litigation environment.

Conferences & Seminars
The WCCP produces the Annual Claims Professionals’ Conference in the Fall of each year.  These programs provide the finest in motivational, informative and educational continuing education programs for adjusters, nurse case managers, employer representatives and other industry participants.

For the industry’s supervisory, managerial and executive ranks, the WCCP presents its Annual Claims Management Conference in June of each year at the beautiful Hyatt Coconut Point in Bonita Springs, Florida.  This dynamic program has earned a “preferred conference” reputation among Florida’s claims management and executives.

Florida’s Claims Associations
The WCCP is proud to be a supporter and sponsor of Florida’s regional Claims Associations as they cover a variety of insurance and claims related topics every month and provide professional development, camaraderie, fellowship and networking opportunities for the claims industry.
