Decades of reform have dramatically changed the nature of workers' compensation claim handling. Now, advanced knowledge and claims expertise is required of all who handle these claims. Effective immediately, eligibility for Board Certification will no longer be dependent on years of experience in lost time or disability claims handling. Now those who handle medical claims will be eligible for admission into the program.
