Advance Your Board Certification Status by
Obtaining and Maintaining Your "CWCL” Designation!
The W/C Section of the Florida Bar and the WCCP Association have joined forces to advance the Annual Florida Bar Workers’ Compensation Forum as the premier educational and professional development event of the century! This annual event, produced by the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Florida Bar, is an annual CLER and Certification Review Course for Board Certification of its member attorneys.  But it has also become much more...!
 
Through an unprecedented collaboration between the Workers' Compensation Section of the Florida Bar and the WCCP, Board Certified Claims Professionals and the supervisors, managers and executives of Florida’s W/C claims community can meet with members of Florida’s W/C trial and defense bar to discuss, debate and jointly learn the most advanced aspects of workers’ compensation litigation and trial practice.  This gathering is quickly becoming each year’s most prestigious event for Florida workers’ compensation claims and litigation practitioners!
 
Attendance is strictly limited to WCCP Board Certified Claims Professionals who have already earned their "CWC” and advanced "CWCL” designations, as well as claims supervisors, managers and executives interested in advancing their depth of knowledge and understanding of the Florida workers’ compensation litigation environment.
 
WCCP Board Certified Adjusters who have already earned their CWC designations will, upon attendance at this forum, and completion of ongoing qualification criteria, earn the right to display the highest level official designation of Florida W/C claims professionalism:
 
"CWCL”
(Certified in Workers’ Compensation Litigation)
 

Eligibility and Qualification Criteria

Eligibility for W/C Litigation Adjuster Board Certification is limited to those individuals who have already earned their CWC designations as Board Certified W/C Claims Professionals.

The following steps are required to earn the "CWCL” designation and become a W/C Litigation Board Certified Claims Professional:

  • Current membership in WCCP
  • Attendance at the 2-day Annual Florida Bar W/C Forum
  • Those attending for original certification must attend the entirety of the primary certification review track.
  • Successfully pass an online 20/25-question Litigation Board Certification qualification exam that follows the W/C Forum.

Ongoing Certification
Minimum requirements for maintenance  of this advanced certification is:

  • Current membership in WCCP
  • Attendance at the FL Bar W/C forum at least once every three (3) years (or advanced "CWCL” certification status will expire.)
  • Forum attendees who have earned their CWCL designations and are returning for continuing certification are not required to attend the primary certification review track, but may instead attend any of the workshops offered at the Forum. 
*Note: The 25-question exam is required only at initial certification.  No more exams are required for maintenance of advanced certification status. 
 
Failure to complete these minimum requirements shall result in forfeiture of advanced certification standing and use of the CWCL designation.
