We are excited to announce that The Association of Workers' Compensation Claims Professionals (WCCP) is bringing back the Advanced Workers' Compensation Board Certification Program to the Tampa area. The program will begin February 20, 2019 and conclude June 26, 2019 and will be held at the Sheraton Tampa Brandon Hotel, 10221 Princess Palm Ave, Tampa, FL 33610.
There is a minimum requirement of 30 applicants needed to proceed with the scheduled dates and times of the Program, so don't delay.Get your applications into us as soon as possible! The requirements, dates, application and fees are listed below.

Advanced Board Certification for Florida Workers’ Compensation Claims Professionals
Requirements
In order to earn this designation, applicants must meet the following requirements:
·Be a licensed Florida adjuster;
·Have a minimum of 3 years experience in the handling or management of workers’ compensation lost time
claims. A current supervisor or manager must attest to this experience by signing the application;
·Earn a minimum passing grade of 70% on all exams;
·Payment must be received for all course work before a certificate will be issued.
·WCCP membership must be current and maintained to participate in the program.
·Once you have earned your CWC designation, in order to retain your designation, you must remain a WCCP
member in good standing.
Important: Admission Qualifications for Medical Case Managers:
Nurses and medical case managers may qualify to admission to the W/C Board Certification program, and be eligible for Board Certification status earn the “CWC” designation, by meeting certain requirements. Nurses and medical case managers who meet the following pre-admission requirements will be awarded a Board Certification Certificate of Completion upon completion of the program:
·Be a licensed Florida RN, CCM or CDMS
·Have a minimum of 3 years experience in the handling or management of workers’ compensation claims. A current supervisor or manager must attest to this experience by signing the application;
·Earn a minimum passing grade of 70% on all exams.
·Payment must be received for all course work before a certificate will be issued.
·WCCP membership must be current and maintained to participate in the program.
·Once you have earned your CWC designation, in order to retain your designation, you must remain a WCCP
member in good standing.
Once the program is completed, your CWC designation will become active, and considered earned, upon issuance of your CWC Certificate.

Class Fee: $45/class (10 classes in total, 2 classes per day)
