Thursday, December 13, 2012

The Board Certification is specifically designed to offer an advanced level of professional education and certification in the management of one of America's most complex social compensation systems. The program is comprised of eight (8) live presentation courses and four (4) online courses, each of which delves into advanced concepts of insurance, law and the anatomy of occupational injury.

This advanced certification program requires an advanced level of qualification for eligibility and provides the opportunity for students to earn the "CWC” professional designation (Certified in Workers’ Compensation). Eligible participants include licensed claims adjusters, medical case managers, insurance, risk management, human resource, safety and vocational professionals.

Expanded Qualification Criteria Provides Greater Opportunity!
Decades of reform have dramatically changed the nature of workers' compensation claim handling. Now, advanced knowledge and claims expertise is required of all who handle these claims. Eligibility for Board Certification will no longer be dependent on years of experience in lost time or disability claims handling. Now those who handle medical claims will be eligible for admission into the program.
