About the WCCP

The WCCP is a professional insurance claims association established to address the needs of the workers’ compensation community in Florida and across the Southeastern United States. The Association provides a means for workers' compensation adjusters, nurse case managers, and other claims, medical and risk professionals to acquire licensure, continuing education, and professional development, and stay abreast of trends and changes in a dynamic and challenging legislative and business environment.

The WCCP currently offers three levels of membership:
  • Adjuster/Case Manager Membership- Any licensed Adjuster or Medical Case Manager actively engaged in the execution of the Workers' Compensation benefit delivery system. This membership class is the core of the WCCP and these members can receive Adjuster, RN and, on occasion, CCM continuing education credits for courses taken through the WCCP. (Does not include service providers or any individual primarily involved in marketing or sales of products or services, regardless of licensure.) ($49.00 annual membership)
  • Associate Membership - Associate Memberships are for other licensed or non-licensed professionals similarly engaged in the management, review or analysis of the property and casualty claims industry. Examples include, but are not limited to, risk managers, human resource professionals, brokers, agents and vocational experts.  (Does not include service providers or any individual primarily involved in marketing or sales of products or services, regardless of licensure.) ($110.00 annual membership)
  • Service Partner Membership - for vendor companies who provide services to the insurance claims industry. Examples include, but are not limited to, law firms, investigation and surveillance companies, medical providers and treatment facilities, engineering and accident reconstruction firms, transportation and translation providers, consulting firms, and others. ($275.00 annual membership. This fee covers all company representatives.)

AntiTrust Statement
WCCP, it's directors, officers, membership and/or any other relationships within this organization are to be conducted in a manner which will not violate any antitrust laws, court decisions, or other procedures relating to competition.

There will be no discussion of prices for products or services rendered by the employers of members and/or directors of WCCP. Pricing decisions of products or services rendered wholly by WCCP are appropriate. There will be no discussions which could lead to "blacklisting", "boycotting", or "seal of approval" programs.

This AntiTrust Statement applies to formal meetings and informal gatherings
 

Mission Statement
The Association of Workers' Compensation Claims Professionals (WCCP) is a nonprofit organization. It's primary purpose is to raise the professionalism in the Workers' Compensation claims community through education and communication by:

  • Providing a means for Workers' Compensation professionals to acquire continuing education units for licensure;
  • Providing a means of keeping the membership informed of developments of interest in the Workers' Compensation field.
  • Enhancing the integrity, efficiency and ethical conduct of the Workers' Compensation claim community, and to work with other interests to improve the Workers' Compensation system.
